Dalí expands on Freud’s ‘idea drawers’ by placing a large open drawer on the forehead of his imagery of a banker. We know this is a banker because one year later, Dalí would do complete imagery using this same countenance, place all the workings of a banker, including a bag of money, and then use the singular title of “The Banker.”
