Devon grew up in the art business. Able to do a comprehensive presentation on Picasso at the tender age of 16 years old he participated in art exhibitions in New York, Los Angeles and Maui.
After receiving his degree in 2007 he flew directly to Maui to work in the gallery formerly known as Higgins Harte International, with a resume already suited to a man twice his age. Very quickly he was promoted to Director where he went to Honolulu to run the 3 galleries owned by Higgins Harte, located there.
Instrumental in managing an Anthony Hopkins event in 2008 and in establishing one of the largest privately owned Masterworks inventory in the U.S., Devon proved himself the key driving force in the company.
In 2012, Devon purchased the gallery and is now the co-owner of the gallery operation in Maui, which he renamed, Harte International Galleries.
Today, Devon acts as Director of the gallery operation on a day-to-day basis and he oversees the worldwide purchasing of museum grade artwork, increasing the Masterworks inventory into the millions of dollars and overseeing the in-depth documentation process.
Devon has traveled the world to buy art and study the museums of the world. He has developed personal relationships with auction houses, curators and authenticity experts in his continuous search to improve and increase the inventory his gallery is able to offer fine art collectors.
