Tauromachie de Dali (#5)

Tauromachie de Dali (#5)

Tauromachie de Dali (#5)

Symbolic of Spain’s heritage and a national tradition, the bullfight has inspired many Spanish artists. Picasso, Dali, and Goya have represented the art of the bullfight in their work, as the recent exhibition Tauromaquia explained. The exhibition opened at a museum in Sao Paulo, Brazil and then traveled to Wroclaw, Poland. It featured a complete set of Dali’s riveting and bold lithographic suite, Tauromachie de Dali, which includes this work.
