An eccentric and famous Surrealist, Salvador Dali’s finely crafted hallucinatory images were inspired by his own dreams, childhood traumas, and the theories of Dr. Sigmund Freud. Dali was an academically trained artist who Albrecht Durer Marc Chagall Salvador Dali had a remarkable talent for making bazaar and impossible worlds seem plausible. He remains one of the most popular artists of the twentieth century, and today, he has two museums exclusively dedicated to his work.
